NIPPO VINI FANTINI EUROPA OVINI: BRUSSELS AND FOURMIES TO START A FULL MONTH OF RACES IN SEPTEMBER.
Brussels Cycling Classic and GP de Fourmies, will be the first races of a very important month of competitions for the team. Marco Canola and the #OrangeBlue riders wants to start in the best way as possibile. Leonardo Bonifazio will be aggregated to the team as trainee.
The #OrangeBlue are expected from an intense weekend, between Belgium and France, for two important competitions in the 1.HC category. 7 World Tour trainings at the start in the Brussels Cycling Classic, in addition to many of the best European professionals. Just one less World Tour in GP de Fourmies, that means a strong week-end for the team with two races that are fascinating and with a route suitable with the characteristics of #OrangeBlue athletes.
The #OrangeBlue captain Marco Canola will be leading the team. In the last races he demonstrated a very good condition and desire of success, reaching important podiums and going very close to the final success. With him two important teammates and “fast wheels” like Simone Ponzi and Juan Josè Lobato, together with the experience of Ivan Santaromita. The young Spanish Joan Bou completes the line-up, together with the new team trainee, Leonardo Bonifazio.
The Italian cyclist, brother of Niccolò Bonifazio, will be in fact a NIPPO Vini Fantini Europa Ovini trainee for this final part of the season. So his debut in #OrangeBlue will take place this Saturday at the Brussels Cycling Classic. In addition to the French competition of this Sunday he could also race with the team some Asian competitions.
The line-up: Marco Canola, Ivan Santaromita, Simone Ponzi, Juan Josè Lobato, Joan Bou, Leonardo Bonifazio (trainee).
The Sports Director will be Alessandro Donati, that comment the upcoming races with these words: “Is going to start a key month for us, where we look forward for important results. This weekend’s races will be an high-level challenge to test the condition ahead of September. We feel good and we arrived with the strength and the right mindset to try to reach the maximum results. The two races are suited to the characteristics of our captain Marco Canola, while Ivan Santaromita will be useful for actions in the final. Simone Ponzi will have the double role of helping the captain, but I know he will be ready to be the protagonist. The international experience of JJ Lobato will be very important to support the captains in the final moments, with the young Joan Bou and the trainee Leonardo Bonifazio ready to help the team during the race.”
