NIPPO VINI FANTINI EUROPA OVINI: THE FASTEST RIDERS OF THE TEAM READY FOR THE TOUR OF CROATIA.

While the #OrangeBlue climbers today will start the Tour of The Alps, a line-up mainly of sprinters is ready to race in Croatia from Tuesday 17th of April. Eduard Grosu and Hayato Yoshida the sprinters, Juan Josè Lobato and Simone Ponzi the complete and experienced riders, Damiano Cima, Kohei Uchima and Hiroki Nishimura the team riders.

From the 17th to 22h of April, 6 stages and over 1.000km to rider. The sprinters of the team are ready to race the 2.HC competition, while in Italy the #OrangeBlue climbers will have to battle for the Tour of The Alps. 

THE LINE-UP.

The Sprinters of the team, selected by the Sports Directors of the team Valerio Tebaldi and Shinichi Fukushima, are the Rumanian rider Eduard Grosu and the Japanese Hayato Yoshida, well supported by complete and experienced riders such as Simone Ponzi and Juan Josè Lobato. Damiano Cima, together with the Japanese riders Kohei Uchima and Hiroki Nishimura to complete the line-up.

The complete line-up: Eduard Grosu, Hayato Yoshida, Juan Josè Lobato, Simone Ponzi, Damiano Cima, Kohei Uchima, Hiroki Nishimura.

THE DECLARATION.

Valerio Tebaldi & Shinichi Fukushima are the sports directors for the Tour of Croatia. These the words of the Italian Sports Director looking forward to the race that will start next Tuesday from Osijek: “With our best climbers involved in the Tour of the Alps, here in Croatia we will have a line-up ready for fast arrivals and mixed stages. Our top riders for the sprints will be Eduard Grosu and Hayato Yoshida, supported by Juan Josè Lobato, Simone Ponzi and Damiano Cima. These riders could also have some chance in the mixed stages. Kohei Uchima and Hiroki Nishimura could try some actions and as a team we want to ride in the best way as possibile and battle for a stage victory in this high level competition.”

THE COMPETITION.

The Tour of Croatia will be held for the fourth consecutive year, from April 17 to 22, 2018, through six stages on a route of over 1000 kilometers throughout Croatia. The race of 2.HC category will have on the start-line 3 World Tour teams, 11 Professional Teams, and some Continental Teams. The race will be broadcasted by International Media. In Italy will be broadcasted live by Eurosport starting from 3.30 pm.
