NIPPO VINI FANTINI EUROPA OVINI: MARCO CANOLA LEADS THE TEAM IN VOLTA LIMBURG.

After the 2017 success of Marco Canola in the race, he will be the leader of the team looking for the double also in the 2018 edition. A strong line-up will support him, ready to battle for the victory. 

1st of April 2017, the team had a bad awakening because of the theft of the De Rosa bikes. Only 8 bikes remained to the team to fight for the victory of Volta Limburg 2017. On one of them, without possibility to change a bike during the long race, Marco Canola won the race. 

31th March 2018, the team will be again in Limburg, ready to battle for the victory, with Marco Canola determined to lead the #OrangeBlue team up to the final victory.

THE LINE-UP.

The leader of the #OrangeBlue riders will be supported by a strong line-up, including JJ Lobato and Simone Ponzi as final riders and alter ego, ready to help and to battle with him for the final victory. The experience of Damiano Cunego, the determination of Imerio Cima, Marino Kobayashi and Hiroki Nishimura to complete a strong roster.

To lead the team on the team car is the Sports Director Valerio Tebaldi: “For Volta Limburg we have great expectations. Marco Canola won the race in 2017 and he wants to battle again for the victory he will be our leader with the help of all his teammates. Very important alternative in the final km for us will be both Lobato and Ponzi. Cunego, Kobayashi, Nishimura and Cima will be team-workers to close on competitors actions and ready to help the leaders of the team” 

THE RACE.

The Volta Limburg Classic will involve the #OrangeBlue in race on a track of 197km, from Eijsden  to Eijsden, on a strong circuit, as it is every race of the north. The Netherlands walls are waiting for the NIPPO Vini Fantini Europa Ovini team, in race together with 1 World Tour team (Team LottoNL Jumbo), 9 Professional teams and some Continental line-up.
