One victory and 5 podiums in these first months as a Pro and he will try to repeat himself in Tour of Thailand. Other two sprinters will be at the start of the 6 Asian stages: Hayato Yoshida and Imerio Cima. There will be room also for climbers, with the Japanese Masakazu Ito and the Colombian rider Ruben Acosta. T complete the line-up the young Japanese rider Hiroki Nishimura.
The complete line-up:
Giovanni Lonardi, Ruben Acosta, Masakazu Ito, Hayato Yoshida, Imerio Cima, Hiroki Nishimura.
The Sports Director words:
“We are going to start the Thailand Tour, our second Asian race after the great victory and our super performance at the Tour of Taiwan. We would like to remake the same thing here in Thailand but it will be even more difficult because of strong heat which is the formidable opponent.
The composition of the team will be more complete with arrival of Hiroki Nishimura and Imerio Cima who come to the reinforcement. On all I rely on Ruben Acosta who will shine on the mountain stage together with Masakazu Ito. In any case the team work determines the result, we try to do the best.”
In the same week in Italy will take place the Giro di Sicilia, organized by RCS Sport. The official line-up of this competition will be communicated at the begin of the next week, after the end of the Coppi & Bartali.
