Pierpaolo De Negri, one of the symbols of the #OrangeBlue project, grown during the years, won the 2nd stage of Tour of Slovenia with a perfect sprint. The team celebrates this success and repeats: “this is a starting point”, Giuliani says.
The team with the highest rate of enthusiasm in the World signing its first victory in Europe and does it with a determinated athlete as Pierpaolo De Negri, who wa one of the most important athletes of the team in 2014, among Continental category.
THE RACE – A group of sixty men in front of the race, between them there were six NIPPO Vini Fantini athletes. Pierpaolo De Negri is in great shape. He talks to his teammates, he moves in the group, he controls the attacks. He makes a masterpiece.
TEAM – #OrangeBlue athletes have a great enthusiasm, but also a great desire to do well and this is very important in a project that is focused on the gradual growth and this victory comes at the right time: "We consider this a starting point – explains Stefano Giuliani, very happy for the success of an athlete who works with him since four years – Pierpaolo has always been taken for these arrivals. Today he controlled and moved well, he spoke with his teammates and pointed straight to the goal. Tour of Slovenie continues with two other interesting stages:
the third one from Dobrovnik to Trije Kralju (178.5 km) and on Sunday, however, the great finale finishing in Novo Mesto (Rogaska Slatina – Novo Mesto, 165 km).
Surely #OrangeBlue Riders will be protagonists again.
