The fourth stage of the Tour of Turkey, the very important World Tour race of Turkey, could have a wonderful finish for the NIPPO Vini Fantini Faizanè team and supporters. Few hundreds meters before the finish line Juan Jose Lobato starts his action going very close to a solo victory in front of the bunch sprint. Only a magnificent Caleb Ewan reached and overtakes him few meters before the finish-line. Behind them other two top level sprinters such as Sam Bennet and Simone Consonni.
In today top10 a good placement also for Giovanni Lonardi the young Italian sprinter was giving a tactical alternative to the solo action of Juan Josè Lobato.
Tomorrow the fifth stage will be mainly for climbers, while on Sunday the finish-line of Istanbul will be suitable again for the fast wheels and sprinters.
Next week the team will race the Tour of The Alps and the Giro dell’Appennino, while the Tour of Croatia has been canceled.
